Location
Kyrianna is one of the villages by the side of the country road from  Rethymnon to Arkadi, above the eastern half of the bay of Rethymnon with it's 15 kms long sandy beach.
Villa Themis is about 500 meters from the village center.
There are some small shops, including a small super market, a mini market, a butcher's shop, and several typically Cretan kafenions.

Public buses go several times per day from the bus stop in the village to Rethymnon and back. A short way below there is the popular Restaurant Faraghi (ca. 700 meters from Villa Themis).
Further down on the coast there are the villages of Stavromenos (6 kms) and Adelianos Campos (8 kms) with numerous super markets, shops and restaurants.
During the season, the touristic life of the area concentrates there as well.

Plenty of watersports are on offer, and on the beach of one of the big hotels at Adelianos Campos there is the Atlantis Dive Center.
Iraklion airport is 84 kms away, Hania airport 83 kms. With respect to the winding character of the motor highway, transfer times from and to the airports must not be underestimated.
